“ My dad and my dads side of the family are from Osceola Mills, Philipsburg. I however live and was born in York, Pennsylvania. After all the years of visiting my dads family this was my first time ever going to the American Diner and let me tell you there was no disappointment at all!!! The food, hospitality, service and even the quaint small town atmosphere was at its highest. It is definitely in mine and my families opinion a perfect go to if you want great home cooked food without doing it yourself. Can’t wait to go back and visit and have a great meal with my family. Whether your passing through or live in the area don’t miss out on this place!! ”

“ Cute, comfy little diner right along the highway. If you blink you might miss this little gem but they have GREAT diner food at diner prices! Whomever is back in the kitchen really knows what they're doing! And the server staff were constantly at the ready, hospitable and offering more coffee at every turn. Truly a great spot to stop on a trip! Definitely recommend anything with their bacon (it's delicious) and home fries! ”

“ I personally Absolutely Love Love the American Diner Delicious home cooked food. I've honestly never had anything bad here. I go out of my way for every holiday to buy Cookies. They taste just as good as they look. I'm a very hard person to please with cookies most of them taste horrible. Not the American Diners cookies they are on Point and Perfect. Also from the time you walk in, Their workers are Kind, Courteous, and Respectful. They go Above and Beyond!!! ”
“ The food was delicious and the portion sizes were fairly large. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly and answered my questions with patience. The waitress was kind enough to take a photo of my group. The atmosphere was a classic diner style. There was a menu board that listed the specials for the day but the waitress also informed us of the specials. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend the American Diner. ”
